1. What did you do this week to move your research forward? Be specific.
I went to my Sociology Professor Kannan and he let me borrow a movie clip about school violence from video games and im going to sit down and watch it and learn how the video games relate to our society and norms.

2. What will you be doing next week to move your research forward? Again, be specific.
Start on a Introductory paragraph that will be very specific and do more research to get resources to learn new information on the things I need to learn pertaining to my subject of violence in schools.

You're 16, You're Beautiful and You're a Voter (summary)

The article starts off by talking about the 2008 Presidential campaign and how new voters were participating in the polls including voters that are under age 29. They anointed Barack Obama as their candidate. Then they start discussing lowering the voting age to 16. Legal age requirements should never stand alone. They should be flexible. It discusses the idea of having 16 yr. olds to be apart of the voting and saying that young ones can maybe later take a simple civic course to stress the voting ideas and community understanding.

Lessons of 1992 by Pual Krugman

Starts out talking about how Gorge Bush is in office and how it is starting to resemble when Clinton came to power. Then goes on about in 1992, when the economy was a mess and how Barack Obama sounds just like Clinton did in 1992. As you review the time right after the election in 1992 the few months there after with Clinton compares to Mr. Obama has decried.
Continuing on, the article mentions dirty politics referring to when Jerry Farwell put out a film suggesting that the Clintons arranged for the murder of an associate plus, the Wall st. journal referred Clinton be in cahoots with a drug smuggler. He promised Health Care Reform but he didn't really have a plan until after the election. The failure of the Health Care reform put Clinton in the second ranked status.
The point is that while there are valid reasons one might support Mr. Obama over Ms. Clinton.
